Nuclear Clock Advanced Settings

"Adjust time every:"

This specifies how often Nuclear Clock will try downloading the time.

"Automatically connect if disconnected"

If this box is checked, Nuclear Clock will try to connect to the Internet if the computer is not connected when Nuclear Clock is ready to download the time.

"Do not adjust time more than this many seconds"

Nuclear Clock will not change your computer's clock more than this many seconds.  If the difference between the downloaded time and your computer's clock is more than this many seconds, then Nuclear Clock will not adjust the time.  Setting this value to 0 will cause Nuclear Clock to ignore this limit.

Daylight Savings Time Settings

"Adjust Clock for changes in Daylight Savings Time"

Checking this box will cause Windows to automatically adjust the clock for Daylight Savings Time.  This option is on by default, and is the same as the Windows "Date/Time Properties" dialog box.

"Daylight Savings Time Begin Date" and "Daylight Savings Time End Date"

These values determine when the transition between Daylight Savings Time and Standard Time takes place.  In most areas, Daylight Savings Time begins on the first Sunday of April and ends on the last Sunday of October.

"Standard Time Bias" and "Daylight Savings Time Bias"

These options determine how many minutes the clock should run ahead or behind in Standard Time and Daylight Savings Time.  In most areas, the Daylight Savings Time Bias is set to 60 minutes (spring ahead 1 hour).  Residents of areas such as Indianapolis, Indiana, who always run on Daylight Savings Time, can set the Standard Time Bias to 60 to have their clock always an hour ahead.
