The PERL script generates 0 for license keys that are less than 5 characters long. Is this a bug? Demo1.exe seems to start generating license IDs from the sixth character. While short license IDs might be insecure, it seems to me that TRegware should still work, perhaps by internally padding the license ID with spaces or something else. |

I'm not sure. It's possible that the perl script has a bug that attempts to ggenerate a key on the 5th character. Try using longer user id strings and see the results. The reason it requires longer license IDs is because of the way the algorithm works. |
