I cannot explain why but:

1. I register the software for 12 days
2. After 13 days the software is still registered and NOT EXPIRED. Is there a TRICK or something is somehow related to the problem with delphi initialization?

I am somewhat unclear about the problem. I do not understand what you mean by "register for 12 days"? Do you mean you registered your program and on the 13th day it unregistered itself?

Thank you for quick response.

1. I register the programm with an registration generated to be valid for 12 days
2. On 13th days or 14th day the programm is still regiestered ( TRUE ) but is not expired.

By registering I mean enter the data from keygenerator and register in this way the application.

Hi,

I have the same issue;

- The application expires and this works fine.

- I generate a new license/reg. code with the provided regware exe and set it to expire in 15 days (i.e. give the user 15 more days to play with it).

- The user enters the license/reg. code to the appplication.

- When I check 15+ days later registered is true and expired is false, however this should not be the case: the license should have expired and they'll either need a full license sent again or another license with more evaluation days.

Please advise if this is right.

Hi,

OK, I've been digging some more - even though the user is registered I can use the CheckCodeExpiration method in reggen4 to see if their code has expired right?

Is this the way to do it?

Thanks

I think you are misinterpreting how the expiration function is meant to work. The "expiration date" means that you must enter the registration code before that date. If you try to enter the code after that date, the system will not accept. The reason for this is to prevent someone from posting a valid registration code public, allowing anyone to copy/paste it. Beyond that date, piracy cannot occur.

I would like to give users unlimited usage of the program, but the expiration date is a means of cracking down on piracy cases.
