Sound Configuration

AlarmWorks can play a sound when an alarm displays.  To change the default sound setting, follow this procedure:

 

Step #1:

On the Options menu, click "Configuration"

Step #2:

Configure the options you want:

  • "Do not play sounds by default" - AlarmWorks will not play a sound when it rings an alarm.
  • "Play this default sound when ringing an alarm" - AlarmWorks will play by default the sound selected from the Available Sounds.
  • Available Sounds - from this box, click the sound you would like AlarmWorks to play during an alarm.
  • Sound Preview Buttons - these play and stop buttons allow you to preview the sound.
  • Add / Remove Sound Buttons - all you to add and remove sounds from the list of available sounds.

AlarmWorks also lets you change the sound setting for an individual alarm.  To do this, follow the procedure for setting an alarm, and click the "Sounds" tab.  Then make the changes you would like.
